Gloria Kim, MSN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

Gloria’s approach to patient care is holistic, evidence-based, and patient-centered. She believes firmly in utilizing both medication and non-pharmacological interventions to achieve patients’ goals. She encourages therapy, self- care, and development of coping skills. She believes in patients being included in their treatment plan by including them in decision making and providing education. She strives to provide high quality care by developing a trusting relationship with her patients, providing support, and helping guide patients in improving their overall well-being. Gloria works with patients of all different ages and has experience treating psychiatric issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.

Gloria is dual certified and licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University. While working in a hospital setting, she decided to go back to school and obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree (FNP). She later earned her PMHNP post-master’s certificate from Virginia Commonwealth University. Gloria has experience working in private practice as well as community health.

Gloria enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
