Clinical Quality Manager of ABA Services

Position Overview: As the Clinical Quality Manager of ABA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our clinical services. Working closely with the Director of ABA Operations, you will oversee treatment plans, supervise clinical staff, and implement training programs to ensure clinical integrity and excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of ABA programs to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor and oversee BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and other clinical staff, documenting supervision activities as per BACB guidelines.
  • Ensure treatment plans and behavior intervention plans adhere to CASP guidelines.
  • Maintain adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions (including BACB CEUs) to support professional growth.
  • Implement new methodologies to enhance service delivery.
  • Encourage teamwork among treatment teams, other disciplines within the organization and with external providers.
  • Identify service delivery gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and legal safety standards.
  • Regularly audit clinical documentation for quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) in good standing with the BACB and Virginia Board of Medicine.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in clinical teams, including performance management.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with developmental disorders and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background investigations, including State and FBI criminal background checks and Child Protective Services criminal background check.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred.
  • Expertise in ABA principles, procedures, and clinical practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Lead Behavior Counselor

Position Summary:

As a Lead Behavior Counselor, you will deliver direct one-to-one ABA therapy services while also taking on additional responsibilities designed to meet the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements for “unrestricted supervision hours.” This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop the administrative and clinical skills needed to become a Behavior Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct ABA Therapy: Deliver personalized ABA therapy to clients, implementing instructional targets and treatment plans.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Gather behavior data to evaluate treatment effectiveness, track progress, and document services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in or completion of a program leading to licensure as an LBA or LABA in Virginia.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
  • Experience with ABA teaching techniques and autism spectrum disorders preferred.

Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

**Full time and primarily in person with the option to provide telehealth care for part of the week

Spectrum Transformation Group is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner to join our growing team to provide high quality, compassionate care to our patients. Our ideal candidate would have clinical experience, but we are open to a new graduate as we can provide mentorship and clinical supervision. The most ideal candidate would be interested in treating child, adolescent, and adult populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health concerns using evidence-based practice.
  • Accurately and promptly maintain detailed records of patient visits and their progress.
  • Safely prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as necessary.
  • Offer psychotherapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy.
  • Work with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to the patient’s health.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health and emotional disorders.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Part-time/Full-Time (Richmond, VA)

Spectrum is looking for passionate individuals to join our ABA program as we continue to expand our center-based services. Our Registered Behavior Technician positions provide entry-level opportunities to start a career in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). RBTs deliver ABA therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of natural environments (e.g., home, school, community, clinic). The RBT works directly under the supervision of a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Spectrum provides a comprehensive orientation which includes: classroom training, field shadowing, one-on-one coaching and ongoing mentorship.

Our RBT positions are ideal for individuals pursuing BCaBA or BCBA certification. Spectrum believes in promoting from within and as our services continue to grow there will be continued opportunities for professional growth and development with our organization.

Qualifications of a Registered Behavior Technician:

  • High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Licensed Psychologist/Therapist

Spectrum Transformation Group is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our growing Outpatient Team. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Our clinicians work with individuals of all ages on an outpatient basis. Our clinicians offer individual and family therapy as well as parenting help. Although Spectrum specializes in developmental disorders, our clinicians assist individuals with a variety of mental health concerns including depression and anxiety, learning and academic difficulties, relationship issues, and stress management and coping.

Interested candidates must hold a valid and unrevoked license in Virginia as a Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, or Professional Counselor and be in good standing with the Department of Health Professionals and associated boards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Candidate must be well organized and have excellent communication skills. Being open to working within an interdisciplinary team model is encouraged, as our department works closely with other specialists.

Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

***New Salary Range

Our Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position provides oversight to 3-4 Behavior Counselors (RBTs) who work directly with our families. This management level position develops and modifies treatment plans ensuring those plans follow principles of ABA and are appropriate for the developmental level of the client. BCBA’s also provide clinical supervision and oversight of their team including monitoring the implementation of the treatment plan.

Ideal candidates should be a BCBA/Licensed Behavior Analyst. Strong analytical and writing skills, training and experience in ABA teaching techniques, and experience working with pervasive developmental disorders/Autism Spectrum Disorder are required. A valid driver’s license in good standing is needed and all selected candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background screening.

Salary Range: $77,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
