Dr. Beth Heller is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who conducts psychological and psychoeducational assessments at Spectrum Transformation Group. She completed her School Psychology training at James Madison University and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Heller has worked in the public school, community mental health, residential, private practice, and higher education settings. Prior to joining Spectrum, she served as Director of the Psychology training clinic at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she supervised both assessment and psychotherapy training for doctoral students. Dr. Heller has extensive experience in evidence-based psychological assessment and therapy across a broad range of ages and diagnostic presentations. Throughout her career she has been actively involved in leadership positions of local, state, and national professional organizations, including the Association for Psychology Training Clinics, the Richmond Academy of Clinical Psychologists, and the Virginia Academy of School Psychologists. She is a member of APA Divisions 12 (Clinical Psychology) and 53 (Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology).
Dr. Heller’s personal interests include gardening, hiking, reading, cooking, and spending time with her adult children and their families.
