About Tracey Fatzinger, Ph.D., LCP

Dr. Tracey Fatzinger is Licensed Clinical Psychologist who joined Spectrum Transformation Group in 2011.  She conducts diagnostic psychological assessments, provides outpatient treatment to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, and co-leads social skills groups.  In treatment, she utilizes cognitive-behavioral and problem-solving techniques, while also addressing the impact of family systems and the social context on behavior when planning interventions.  Dr. Fatzinger has unique experience in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder obtained during her tenure on a multidisciplinary Developmental Disorders Assessment Clinic team from 2003 to 2010 as a team member and Assistant Director (appointed July 2009).  This team included a speech-language pathologist, an occupational therapist, an educational consultant, and a psychiatrist at each evaluation.  In addition, she has been a clinical faculty member in the VCU Department of Psychiatry and a supervisor with the VCU Clinical Psychology program.  She previously worked in the community mental health setting in South Carolina, where she earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of South Carolina.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association.
