About Megan E. Sullivan Kirby, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA

Megan Sullivan Kirby is a practicing Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Medicine. Since 2003, she has worked with individuals with autism, developmental, and intellectual disabilities. Ms. Kirby has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Flagler College, and has a Master’s degree in Special Education, Emotional and Behavior Disorders from the University of Virginia. She holds a Post-Graduate Professional Teaching License in Special and General Education, and has been designated as a Highly-Qualified Teacher. Ms. Kirby professional interests include improved access to ABA treatment for families of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Virginia. Her clinical interests include volunteer work to improve international access to autism treatment, verbal behavior, American Sign Language, ABA therapy for treatment of children with intellectual disabilities, and parent training. She is a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International, A Global Voice for Autism, and Council for Exceptional Children.
