Brian Phelps, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA

Brian is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a passion for teaching kids, helping families and having fun. His motto is “It is a great day for teaching kids,” because every day is an opportunity to learn and to grow. Brian attended the L. Douglas Wilder School of Public Affairs at VCU and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Upon graduation, Brian continued to attend VCU to receive a teaching license in special education. After working as a special education teacher and director of an Autism and Intellectual Disabilities program, Brian attended the University of Richmond and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Most recently he has completed his certification in Applied Behavior Analysis while attending Florida Institute of Technology. Brian is also a passionate musician who can be found playing for children and for charity all over central Virginia.
